I'm Bader, a computer science grad from beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada. My problem-solving journey started as a kid — I used to disassemble electronics at home just to figure out how they worked. Impressive to me, not so much to my parents.

One day on a family trip, I met someone on a tour bus who knew how to “hack” Nokia phones — inserting unsupported languages, making custom ringtones, changing the home screen. Nokia 3310 era. Early 2000s. I was hooked. I started helping family and friends with their phones, and eventually charging for it.

From there I volunteered to moderate a Windows software forum, helping people across the internet — translating guides from English to Arabic along the way. The pattern was clear: I had a knack for solving problems and helping others, and it brought me genuine joy. That's what led me to study computer science — I wanted to know how to build the software I used to download the pirated versions of.

My programming journey started with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I built simple websites, moved into WordPress, then landed my first professional web development role in Nanaimo at Alpha, where I learned the digital marketing industry inside and out. While there, I started my own business on the side — focused on small-town businesses that couldn't afford a full agency. I knocked on doors, introduced myself, and showed them mockups tailored to their business.

After two years I left Alpha — and most of the clients I'd worked with there came back to me. Alpha itself hired me back as a freelancer. I've continued to grow ever since, going above and beyond for every client. Not just because it's business, but because helping people achieve their goals is what genuinely drives me.
